TapSEC Consulting LLC is a professional sales firm that understands how, why and when government entities buy products and services from the commercial market place. We have decades of experience working within the bureaucratic procurement process. We know how government buys and we know how to prepare our clients to sell to the government.
The government market place for many companies is an untapped sales channel that has the potential to significantly improve a company’s bottom line. Often companies that make the strategic decision to sell to the government make the mistake of spending money and resources seeking out high-level key contacts in the hope they can enter the market place from a senior level entry. This approach rarely produces the desired sales results. Nothing is wrong with soliciting key contacts and policy makers in the government, but often the sales process stops at their recommendation. The missing component is usually the method in which the government can buy from your firm. The bureaucrat in government needs a tool, a means, to buy from your company. It is that expertise we offer in our sales approach. We provide the pathway for sales. If you sell to the government you need to lead the bureaucrat through the maze, showing them how they can buy from your company using one of the existing governmental procurement programs. While it never hurts to have the influence and recommendation of the key government executive, your company needs to provide the pathway and methodology for the sale.
As a professional government sales consulting firm we have the expertise to provide the path for the bureaucrat to buy from your company. We also have the contacts at the highest level of government that can influence the bureaucratic to use the contractual vehicle we guide them toward when buying your product or service. We identify the best procurement program for your product or service and develop a business development and sales strategy to help your company capture larger market share without taking hits on margin.
