About

TapSEC Consulting LLC is a professional sales firm that understands how, why, and when government entities buy products and services from the commercial marketplace. We have decades of experience successfully navigating through the Federal and state procurement processes. We know how government buys and we know how to prepare our clients to sell to the government.

The government marketplace is an untapped sales channel that has the potential to significantly grow a company's bottom line. Companies that make the strategic decision to sell to the government often make the mistake of spending money and resources seeking out high-level key contacts in the hope that they can enter the marketplace from a senior-level entrypoint. This approach rarely produces the desired sales results. Nothing is wrong with soliciting key contacts and policy makers in the government, but the sales process often stops at their recommendation. The missing component is usually the contract vehicle by which the government can buy from your company. The government customer needs a means by which to buy from your company. It is that expertise we offer in our unique sales approach. We provide pathways to grow your revenue. If you sell to the government, you need to lead the customer through the maze, showing them how they can buy from your company using one of the government’s procurement programs. While it never hurts to have the influence and recommendations of senior government executives, your company needs the appropriate contractual vehicle to close the sale.

As a professional government sales consulting firm, we have the expertise to open pathways for the government customer to buy from your company. We also have contacts at the highest levels of government who can influence the customer to use the contractual vehicle we guide them towards to acquire your products and services. We identify the best procurement program for your products and services. We develop and execute a business development and sales strategy to help your company capture larger market share without taking hits on its margins.
